Should Chiropractors Prescribe Medications?

PrescriptionsThere is a national debate within the chiropractic community about expanding our scope to include writing prescriptions for medications. In my opinion, the arguments in favor of an expanded scope of practice don’t convince me to change my mind. I think it would be bad for the chiropractic profession and the overall health of our citizens.

Pesticides With My Produce? No Thanks!

I went to Byerly’s to pick up my fruits and vegetables for the week. I almost always buy organic, so I tend to pick out what I want- sometimes without checking prices. While scanning, I had to do a double take on the price of the cucumbers. They rang up at a whopping $4.49 a piece! I asked if that was a “per pound” rather than “each” price. The cashier assured me it was $4.49 each. I didn’t have time to shop around and I really wanted them, so I paid the price and left.
