I came across an article in ToYourHealth.com regarding one of our favorite summer rituals, grilling meat on the BBQ. The article reminded me of the bad news about grilling, which I will share with you. Fortunately fellow grillers, I will also help you minimize the negative aspects of the BBQ.
I grew up in an area where chiropractic was largely unknown. As a kid, I remember well the visits to the doctor whenever we got sick or had an ear infection (which for me was quite often). As an adolescent, athletics and accidents resulted in painful conditions that were treated with drugs. Mind you, I’m not blaming my parents by any means! It was just that back then, few knew about chiropractic. What a shame!
My wife works in the Information Technology field and they have a saying, ” garbage in equals garbage out.” It means that a poorly written program will give poor results. The human body works in a similar fashion. If we don’t feed the body well, then we shouldn’t expect it to perform very well. In other words we get “sick.” In Part 2 of this series I want to discuss diet and doing what we can to avoid the garbage in part of the equation.
My previous two blogs have described Functional Disconection Syndrome (FDS) and how it can lead to such conditions as ADHD, Asperger’s, Autism, depression, oppositional defiant disorder and more. We have defined FDS as an imbalance in the left and right lobes of the brain and how it occurs. What treatment options are there for balancing the brain and treating these behavioral and learning disorders?
