What’s for Breakfast? Go For the Protein and Skip This Type of Carbohydrate

We’ve all read the articles that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  Studies show eating breakfast can give you a nutritionally complete diet, better weight control, improved concentration and performance, better strength and energy for physical activity and can lower your cholesterol.

Ok, we get the message – eat breakfast – but what’s for breakfast?  The food choices for breakfast vary from cold creals to omelets, hot tea/coffee to fruit juices, waffles with strawberry sauce and whipped cream to whole grain toast.  The menu you choose for breakfast will effect the rest of your day.
